Thompson Wright grows with the acquisition of Hanleys Chartered Accountants

We are delighted to announce that we have acquired a new practice, Hanleys Chartered Accountants, as part of our ongoing expansion plans.

The firm, based in Hale, Greater Manchester, is the perfect addition to our own practice and brings with it the expertise of a number of experienced professionals.

The team at Hanleys share many of the same values as our own practice and we feel that they bring a lot of strengths to Thompson Wright.

They were also impressed with the family ethos and culture that we offer and are keen to support our wide client base.

For clients of our firm there will be no changes, we pride ourselves on a director led approach. We will continue to operate under the same name, but we will enjoy the benefits of our new office in Hale and the added skills of the Hanleys’ team.

We hope that over the next few years this acquisition will allow our firm to grow further and into new areas, which will ultimately benefit you.

Richard Thompson, Senior Director at Thompson Wright, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Hanleys Chartered Accountants team and clients to our growing practice.

“This latest acquisition is an important step in our firm’s history, as we look to target new regions, sectors and organisations with our valued business, tax and accountancy services.”

We understand that you may have some questions about Hanleys and what this acquisition means for you. Please feel free to speak to us about this exciting development at Thompson Wright.
