Staffordshire accountants recruit new starters to support its growth

One of Staffordshire’s leading independent accountancy firms, Thompson Wright, has announced the appointment of four new members of staff as it undergoes further expansion of its services.

The firm, which has offices in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Leek, has recently recruited Natalie Heatherington, Dean Moores, Matthew Maskery and Zara Thompson.

Natalie joins the firm as a Tax Advisor having previously worked for another local firm. She started her career at HM Revenue & Customs before moving into practice at various firms across the UK.

Although much of her career has been spent assisting with payroll issues, including managing the payroll of Stoke City Football Club, her passion has always been taxation.

She will support Thompson Wright’s clients with a wide range of tax advice and services in her new position.

Meanwhile, Dean joins the firm as a Bookkeeper, after working at another local firm for the last eight years.

He has joined Thompson Wright to become an established member of a well-respected company, so that he can expand his skills and knowledge to help the firm grow further.

Matthew and Zara have both been recruited by the firm as trainees and will study alongside their work to complete professional qualifications.

Matthew will be working towards completing a level 4 AAT qualification, before progressing on to become ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualified.

His fellow trainee Zara is just starting in the accountancy profession and is using her time at the firm to develop her career further, having completed a degree in Sports Management at St Mary’s University in Twickenham.
